Links
Most of the websites are grouped by geographical area. There are also some breakouts into subject areas. It is usually best to search by geography first, then by subject. The breakouts generally are toward the bottom of the page, unless they have enough sites to have their own page, in which case the links to them will appear at the top of the page.
The links section is a work in progress; however the structure that is envisioned for it is generally as follows:
Example: You are looking for a website with material on US military strategy. It could be possible to find useful websites in the general section of the links section main page, on the Western Hemisphere regional page under "United States", or more particularly under the "Military affairs" sub-heading under that country. There are some good sites there, but there are also some good ones among the general sites under "United States", so sometimes it pays to work backwards to more general areas. Sometimes a site will have wide-ranging content which precludes its placement in the most specialized category.
If you do not find what you are looking for, email me and let me know what kind of websites would be more useful to you. Of course, if you have a suggestion for a particular website to be included here, let me know and I will take a look at it.
The Links section is intended to facilitate the search for material related to this website and to provide a useful starting point for anyone seeking to conduct their own research into international political and military affairs. WorldMonitor.info is not responsible for the views or general content of the websites in this section.
