Well-designed and highly informative website covering all aspects of the RAN. Detailed ship information and an outstanding photo gallery are among the many features.

An outstanding source of general information on Taiwan’s history, people, government, policies and economy. The site goes into great detail on Taiwan’s relationship with the People’s Republic of China.

Online version of Pakistan's most widely circulated English language newspaper.

East-West Center (www.eastwestcenter.org)

Publically funded organization that conducts research and educational programs related to issues of concern to the Asia/Pacific region.

European Centre on Pacific Issues (www.ecsiep.org)

Provides access to very valuable historical and other relevant material on political events and developments in the Central and South Pacific.

Korea Institute for Defense Analyses (KIDA) (www.kida.re.kr)

Conducts research into issues relevant to the security of South Korea and the surrounding region. The site provides access to the excellent Korean Journal of Defense Analysis (KJDA).

Research institution at the University of Pennsylvania, US. The website has a number of good papers, with contributors including Indian and American experts.

New Delhi based think tank devoted to military strategy, foreign policy and other areas relevant to the security of India.

Excellent website of an India-based think tank devoted to security-related issues in South Asia. The many articles and other resources allow examination of regional issues from different angles and facilitate additional research.
